Tinykin will launch on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam, Epic Games, and GOG). When you’re only an inch high, you’ve got to get creative! Players will have to master his soap-bar surfboard too, grinding across table edges and across precarious rails, lines, and spider webs. Run, jump, and bound between obstacles, and unfurl his upgradable bubble-glider to cross wider gaps. While the Tinykin are always there to help solve problems, Milo is no slouch at getting around these seemingly massive environments. Build up a swarm of these strange new friends, and have them move massive objects, build ladders, blast open sealed passages, and more for you. Not only are the local insect population (mostly) friendly, but Milo can call on the aid of the Tinykin, mysterious and colorful critters seemingly living to help wayward adventurers. Bring music back to the living room, clean up the bathroom, and quest for parts of the machine that will crack the puzzle of this bizarre world.Įxploring this strange land is tricky, but Milo has plenty of help!
Players are free to explore the massive, miniature environments of the house, with each room populated by its own strange cultures and presenting fresh problems to pick through. Tinykin is planned for release on August 30, 2022, available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series XS, Nintendo Switch, and PC, where you can already wishlist it on Steam (opens in new tab). Tinykin is a 3D platform adventure inspired by classic Saturday morning cartoons and timeless console hits like Pikmin and Paper Mario. Collect upgrades to improve Milo's bubble-pack. Catch over a hundred tinykin in each city, and use their special abilities to climb higher, break down doors and solve the city's problems Skateboard around on Milo's tiny soap-board Jump, grind and hover around the house. In the vast, intricate layout of the human house, no problem is unsolvable, and no obstacle is impossible to overcome with the help of the Tinykin. Meet characters everywhere you go and learn their stories and history.
Additionally, Milo has his own tricks up his sleeve, like a tiny soap-board to skate about and a bubble helmet to float about platforms.
The world is alive with colorful characters who possess a distinct backstory and history.
In Tinykin, Milo will lead his crew of cute critters through a sprawling ant-sized metropolis full of communities of ants, beetles, and other bugs. Tinykin seeks to continue this idea of “tiny space person stuck in a giant world,” but with its own unique twists and special mechanics. The last “real” Pikmin title ( Pikmin 3 ) came out almost eight years ago, now leaving other indie studios to fill in the gap that Nintendo has neglected for this beloved IP. Recently, there’s been a welcome revival of the “ Pikmin genre,” with the exceptionally charming The Wild at Heart released last month and the positively gorgeous Kena: Bridge of Spirits coming this summer. Use the Tinykin to help Milo get back to his home planet, where everything is “normal-sized.” This creative puzzle-platforming adventure will be releasing on Steam for PC. Play as Milo and gather your hoard of mysterious Tinykin to use their collective abilities in building bridges, ladders, and explosions! With charming 2D character artwork reminiscent of something out of Saturday morning Cartoon Network, you’ll explore the huge 3D world of a home on Earth.
That being said, Tinykin is the new upcoming Pikmin -inspired indie game scheduled for release in 2022.
You can’t deny that commanding an army of tiny and cute creatures is anything but satisfying.
